ViewPower (or particularly upsMonitor) is a service that runs in the background without interaction with the desktop. You may only access it via webbrowser interface, which will open once ViewPower application is called.
ViewPowerMini is an application (process), whic interacts on the desktop, so it needs administrator rigths to run.

ViewPowerMini is limited in operating under different user sessions, it is designed to work with simple solutions - one desktop user, one UPS. For all advanced applications we suggest ViewPower.
